Bio

Trish Fleming is the former Executive Director of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge. During her 17-year tenure at the Enterprise Forum, she grew the organization's programs and services, increased membership participation, stabilized fundraising, and worked closely with the Board and program volunteers on ongoing strategy and implementation. Her 25 years experience in non-profit management and administration encompass educational, government, and social service organizations in the greater Boston area, and has included fund-raising, program development and management, marketing, events planning, volunteer management, strategy, and general administration. Other organizations she has worked for include the Cambridge YWCA, the Mass. Government Land Bank (now Mass Development), and the Future of the Automobile Program I at MIT. She was named a 2008 All-Star by Mass High Tech. She is currently the co-chair of Mass High Tech's Women to Watch Advisory Committee. She has been a judge and mentor for the $100K Business Plan Competition Social Development Track and a mentor for both MIT Venture Mentoring Service and BU Mentoring Service, and a judge for the William James Foundation Business Plan Competition. Her philosophy is “Never settle into your comfort zone – you stop learning and you stop taking risks. And where’s the joy in that?” She holds both an M.B.A. and a B.A. from Simmons College.
