Bio

Kartik is a founding partner of Skyscape and after helping to grow the business the past 10 years, assisted in its sale to a New York private equity group Perseus, LLC. Kartik served as the Chief Technology Officer of Physicians Interactive Holding, an aggregate of three healthcare technology companies, including Skyscape. Kartik brings more than 20 years experience in cutting-edge technology development to Skyscape's engineering initiatives and lead the development of Skyscape's handheld and wireless programs. At Skyscape, Kartik also assisted in operational areas including financial management, G&A/logistics and business development activities. Skyscape, today has over a million healthcare professionals using its products and services on mobile devices and smartphones. Prior to joining Skyscape, Kartik served at Cornerstone Software as Vice President of Software Development. In that role, he managed the development and deployment of the Company's key middleware software products which are in use at major corporations and institutions around the globe. Kartik has been an invited guest at several speaking engagements including being a panel member at American Media Management, speaker at Microsoft Embedded Developers Conference, speaker at the Babson College MBA Entrepreneurship program and presenter at several Pharmaceutical companies. Kartik has been involved with the TIE-Boston organization since its inception and is a current charter member of Tie-Boston. He also serves on the screening committee of the Tie Angels Boston group and on the committee of the TYE (Tie Young Entrepreneurs) program. Kartik earned his Master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI), Bombay and has completed advanced management courses offered by the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
