Bio

Jeff Gwynne has over 25 years experience in high tech and has held positions in system engineering, product management, corporate marketing, sales and business development. He started his career at Bell Laboratories and went on to found four companies of various sizes. Most notable of these was Quantum Bridge, which developed the fiber optic technology used to power Verizon FiOS and other fiber-based telecommunications access systems across the globe. He was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development until Quantum Bridge was acquired by Motorola in 2004. Most recently, Jeff ran marketing and business development for a telecommunications system integrator. After figuring out this summer that he is still an awful golfer, Jeff joined ZipRecruiter as a part time Brand Ambassador (field marketing). He has a BA in Physics from Bowdoin College, an MSEE from WPI and is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). He enjoys playing bad golf and fishing, hiking and biking. Jeff also volunteers with The Trustees of the Reservation in Massachusetts auditing and documenting rare and threatened species of plants.
