The Sandbox is excited to announce that we are one of the recipients of the 2013 MassINC’s Gateway Cities Innovator Awards. The award is given out to individuals and organizations that have had a transformative impact in a Massachusetts gateway city. Lowell and Lawrence are among 26 gateway cities in the Commonwealth.

On November 12th, David Parker (Executive Director of the Sandbox) received the award at MassINC’s ceremony.

“What we’re hoping is for all this entrepreneurship to catch people’s attention so people who live around Lowell and Lawrence get inspired and realize if they have an idea, they would feel comfortable coming forward and sharing their idea,” said David.
